Chester Zoo Visit

On Wednesday 2nd April, students from Hazel Wood enjoyed a trip to Chester Zoo.
Year 8 students embarked on an exciting educational journey into the world of wildlife conservation, animal behavior, and environmental sustainability as part of the Oak Experiences offered at Hazel Wood. The trip was an opportunity for students to experience nature up close while gaining valuable insights into the efforts that protect endangered species across the globe.
They were also joined by our Year 10 Animal Care students, who attended a workshop with expert zoo staff to aid them with the completion of their coursework.
All students (and staff!) had a fantastic experience and represented Hazel Wood impeccably.
