Mayor of Bury visit to Hazel Wood High

The Mayor had a tour of the recently refurbished school and was guest of honour in Year 7 assembly in which the school’s annual charitable Christmas Hamper Project for Bury Hospice was rolled out by Assistant Head Teacher Mr Murphy.
The Mayor kindly handed out certificates of achievement in the assembly and awarded pupils who had made outstanding academic progress.
The Mayor also recognised the achievement of Tyler Hindle, who came runner up in the category for Young Superstars Award, which is presented to young people who are a credit to our community.
