Hazel Wood High Farewell Assembly to Neighbourhood Police Officer
PC Heap has been part of our community for over 10 Years as our Neighbourhood Police officer. He has seen many of our students grow into young adults and inspired them along the way to achieve their ambitions, this includes Jake Thomas and Callum Hawkes, ex-students of the school, who were part of the Bury Police Cadet scheme delivered by PC Tim Heap and his colleagues. Jake and Callum are now both on the pathway themselves to becoming Police Officers.
PC Heap said today, “I am proud to have been linked to Hazel Wood High School for over 10 years. The school is at the heart of our community, supported by a very dedicated and hardworking team. Students from the school have been involved in Bury Police Cadets and other youth projects. This has not only supported them as they grow but the school and wider community. I wish Hazel Wood High School every success for the future.”
