Tesco Charity Music Performance
On Tuesday 12th December we took our talented musicians to perform at Tesco in Bury to raise funds for Bury Hospice.
Elms Bank Winter Concert
On the evening of Wednesday 6th December, 8 of our student’s kick started their Christmas with performing at the Elms Bank Winter Festival. From male duets, by Malachi and Lex, and female quartets, with Summer, Lexie, Aliya and Lily, accompanied by guitarist Charlotte to beautiful classical pianist Maryam. Our students had shown great confidence and courage to perform in front of a large audience that filled their hall. The sound of cheering and clapping alongside the students really lit up the building spreading Christmas Cheer for all.
Hazel Wood Fundraising
Following recent successful remembrance events, Hazel Wood High School students alongside Mr Greenhalgh, Headteacher, proudly present a cheque for £200 to Rod Lloyd from The Royal British Legion.
Hazel Wood student plays role in Manchester Women's Derby
On Sunday 19th November, one of Hazel Wood's students had the fantastic experience of leading Manchester United's womens team out as a mascot for the Manchester Derby.
Bury Defence Academy Inter Club Boxing Event
Mr. Greenhalgh, Headteacher, and Mrs. Jones, Community & Safeguarding Lead, accepted an invitation to a inter club boxing event at Bury Defence Academy on Saturday 11th November.
