Winter Wonderland – A Celebration of Community Spirit
On Wednesday, 10th December, we hosted our annual Winter Wonderland event – a festive celebration run by our pupils for the local community.
Families enjoyed a fantastic range of activities, including penalty shoot-outs, glitter tattoos, lucky dips, bauble decorating, and Christmas shopping. Stalls offered an array of budget-friendly items such as clothing, gifts, festive stationery, 3D-printed creations, artwork, books, reindeer food, and Fairtrade products.
The ever-popular tombola sold out in just 30 minutes, and our raffle was a huge hit! Thanks to our partnership with Upriser, one of our careers collaboratives, we were able to offer incredible prizes, including tickets to a Channel 4 show filming, JD and Amazon vouchers, an air fryer, and even a Hotpoint appliance voucher worth up to £500!
The event was a tremendous success, raising over £600, which will be split between school improvements for our pupils and a donation to Bury Hospice.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, our amazing staff for their support, and most importantly, our pupils, who did a fantastic job engaging with the community and running the stalls.
