Letter received from Chief Superintendent Chris Hill

Dear Mr Greenhalgh

I am writing to thank you and your students for participating in the recent Art Project.

I was really overwhelmed by the standard of work undertaken by your students, the process of nominating  a winner was extremely difficult, it was a decision I was unable to make myself and resulted in a panel consisting of  6 police staff and police officers making the final decision.

It was a difficult decision for the whole panel and after a lengthy discussion it was decided that due to the outstanding quality of the entries we were unable to identify a single winner, the group found all the entries inspirational, therefore I have decided to select four worthy overall winners which will each be presented an amazon gift card in recognition of their hard work.

I would like to inform you that the well-deserved winner is  Kaitlyn Boyes.

Furthermore due the high standards I have decided that rather than a single piece of art work being on display I intend to use all the entries to create a mosaic of art work that will be displayed in the Command Area of the police station.

I would like to congratulate you on the quality of work undertaken by your students, it is obvious they have a good knowledge of our town and its history and their pride in our town shone through using their artistic talents.

Once again can I take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to you for allowing your students to take part in this inter-school competition.

Yours sincerely

Chris
