Hazel Wood Remembrance Events

Hazel Wood High School students paid their respects for Remembrance Day with a 2-minute silence in school at 11.00am on Friday 10th November as part of a special Remembrance Assembly. Mrs. Hopkinson played the last post and Students from each year group laid a wreath as a further show of respect for those who have lost their lives.
Hazel Wood students also further paid their respects on Remembrance Day, joining the Headteacher in laying a wreath at Bury Cenotaph. Huge thanks to Steven Fitt for our invitation to be part of such a special day.
