JD UP Careers Event
Year 10 students from Hazel Wood were invited, to take part in the largest-ever JD UP careers event, which played host to 6000 students across two days between 27th- 28th February 2025.
Held at Manchester Central, students explored zones in which JD staff gave each student a glimpse into a different side of JD. As the students went round in rotation, they enjoyed interactive career zones which included buying and merchandising, finance, legal and distribution. Highlights for students included a HGV simulator, practicing CPR, testing out gym equipment, experiencing packing logistics and exploring counterfeit goods.
Students represented Hazel Wood impeccably and enjoyed some great experiences which opened their minds to future careers they could strive for when leaving school.
