Mock Trial Competition
The team consisted of, Nida Quynh, Faheem Ahmad, Mahrukh Shah, Hada Fernandes, Melissa Constantinescu, Duaa Jamiullah, Asia La Rocca, Aman Javed, Sabrina Saleh, Alice Hindson (Year 9), Maryam Ahmed, Nicole Kirvin, Marta Zelazny (Year 8 ), Taylor Cadwallader (Year 7).
The Magistrates Court Mock Trials was an amazing way for the students to learn how the British Justice system works as well as improving their speaking skills. The students were a given a case to study and then decided what their roles would be. The team competed against other schools, one of them being the winning team. Overall, everyone who participated did brilliantly. Pupils were nervous at first but then flourished during the competition and slowly gained more and more confidence throughout it.
