Bikeability Cycle Training
A selection of our Year 7 pupils have been extremely busy this week completing the Level 1, 2 & 3 Bikeability qualification. Bikeability cycle training equips children with vital life skills.
Winter Fair
On Thursday 8th December, the pupils and friends of Hazel Wood High School hosted our first ever Winter Fair. We welcomed all of our community to join us in raising money for our school. The fair included stalls selling bags, scarves, toys and cakes.
Fareshare Community Collection
Hazel Wood High School students rallied round and made donations of food and toiletries in support of the Attic Project in Bury.
Miss Rathor, Deputy Head presented our donation to Michelle Delaney at the Attic Project and Wendy Haworth Community Champion at TESCO Bury.
A performance of 'The Santa Interviews' at Elms Bank Christmas Concert
The Drama Club had a fantastic time performing their short play 'The Santa Interviews' at the Elms Bank Christmas Concert on the 7th December.
Hazel Wood Students pay respects on Remembrance Day
Hazel Wood students paid their respects on Remembrance Day with a 2-minute silence in school at 11.00am as well as a small number of students joining the Headteacher and Head of Personal Development and Wellbeing in laying a wreath at Bury Cenotaph.
