'On Tuesday 7th February, Miss Hill and Miss Smith took a Year 7 and a Year 8 Netball team to compete against Derby High. They all demonstrated excellent resilience as they were placed in positions out of their comfort zones.

Mrs Jones Community & Safeguarding Lead for Hazel wood High School met with Mr Ali from the Qadria Jilania Islamic Centre and Mosque alongside PC Roberts.

Year 10 BTEC Performing Arts students enjoyed a trip to the Palace Theatre Manchester on the 11th January.

Students and staff supported TESCO fare share scheme to support our local community and rallied round and made donations of food and toiletries.

A selection of Hazel Wood students donated hampers to Bury Hospice on Friday 16th December, as well as performing a number of Christmas Carols.
