On the evening of Friday 3rd March, Miss Hill and Miss Smith took a group of 30 students to go and watch a live professional Netball match at Belle Vue Stadium. Manchester Thunder were competing against Loughborough Lightning in the Netball Superleague.

On Monday 27th February, Year 10 and 11 Animal Care students visited Chester Zoo as part of their coursework preparation, enjoying expert workshops on animal housing and husbandry.

Our Year 8 form groups have taken part in a inter-form charity drive as part of their learning on the subjects of charity and giving. The winning form groups were rewarded with a baking session with our Head of Technology, Mrs. Ahmed.

On Wednesday 8th February a speed networking event was held at Hazel Wood, with Year 9 and 10 students meeting a number of representatives from various industries.

A team of our students took part in the Youth Speaks Debating Competition organised by the Rotary Club on 8th February at Sharples School.
