Of course Corpus Christie college loved our students and they loved the college. Their standards of behaviour and appearance were impeccable.

Miss Rothwell escorted six, wonderful year 7 students to Tesco, where they supported FareShare in collecting food donations for local charities and food banks.

Our Year 9 pupils have recently been studying the Holocaust in their History lessons. As part of the topic pupils were asked to complete a Holocaust Memorial piece for homework. Pupils were allowed to produce the memorial in any format they wanted. Imagine our surprise when Keaira produced this amazing cake!

On Wednesday the 22nd of June, 20 of the year ten Catering and hospitality class were invited to a masterclass by the professional cookery team at Bury College. The students were shown the facilities available and were taught how to make shortbread biscuits and Pizza in a professional kitchen situation.

On Friday 24th June Year Seven pupils transplanted sunflowers that had been started at home by their class teacher.

The pupils thoroughly enjoyed planting the sunflowers and are hoping to start a gardening club in September.
