Sam attended the English Schools Athletics Association (ESAA) North West Regional Finals for junior boys pentathlon, representing Greater Manchester on Saturday 25th June.

Words for All Big Book Quiz

On Thursday 16th June, several students from years 7, 8 and 9 took part in the Words for All Big Book Quiz. The students worked in teams against each other and other schools from around the country. Each team had received three books that they must read and study in preparation for the quiz. They then went head-to-head to see who could recall the most information and showcase their talent for reading, retrieval and inference.

On Thursday 16th June, several students from years 7, 8 and 9 took part in the Words for All Big Book Quiz. The students worked in teams against each other and other schools from around the country. Following their involvement in the Magistrate's Mock Trial Competition, two of our students submitted entries to the associated competitions: the Court Artist competition and the Court Reporter competition. We are very pleased to announce that both of our entrants were named as runner up in their competitions.

Year 7 Community Litter Pick

Year 7 alongside Ms Rothwell Pastoral Year Lead for Year 7 completed a thorough community Litter pick around the local streets, supported by community friends, Jane, Gareth and Trevor.
