Hazel Wood High School receives a breakfast boost from Kelloggs
To celebrate twenty years of supporting school breakfast clubs, Kellogg’s has awarded Hazel Wood High School, in Bury, £1,000 this academic year to enhance the breakfast club and extend the range of food items on offer in the morning to their pupils.
National Poetry Day
On Thursday 3rd of October, we celebrated National Poetry Day. This year, year 7 students had the exciting opportunity to take part in a Guiness World Record. Twenty-nine of our year 7 students joined schools from around the country on a Zoom call endeavouring to create a new world record: most students on record co writing a poem.
Tesco Community Grants Scheme - Vote For Hazel Wood High School
We are delighted that our application to Tesco Community Grants Scheme has been successful and our Diversity Garden project will be put forward to a customer vote in Tesco. This means we can win up to £1500 towards our Diversity Garden at Hazel Wood High School.
Councillor Visit
Councillor Quinn and Councillor Holt took time out of their busy schedules to visit our School today. They were able to see first-hand the issues we are experiencing with parking and more importantly the challenges some of our students face on a daily basis trying to navigate the kerbs and roads.
