Hazel Wood students enjoyed a fantastic trip to Salford Law Courts, working with Salford University's law department to gain an insight into a legal career, which was captured by ITV News.

Hazel Wood High School took part in an art competition to recognise and celebrate the hard work that GMP (Bury) Police carry out in our local community.

On Tuesday 4th July 2023, selected students from HWHS went head to head against other schools in the borough at the annual Bury School Athletics Championships.

12 students from Hazel Wood were selected to take part in a Gifted and Talented Science competition hosted by Holy Cross College on Monday 3rd July.

On Thursday 22nd June 2023, fourteen of our finest Year 10 Sports Leaders took control at our trust partner school, Unsworth Primary.
