On Monday 26th June our Year 9 Rounders Team represented HWHS in a tournament at Philips High School.

Despite the recent heat, students from Year 9 and Year 10 have been loading up the rucksacks and heading for the hills. Like the temperature recently, spirits have been really high in the Duke of Edinburgh camp. Bronze Expedition Training is officially going well.

Hazel Wood's Junior and Senior Windball Cricket teams have smashed their way into contention for the newly established Bury Schools' Windball Cricket League with recent results.

On Thursday 8th June, a selection of our Year 10 students made the long journey to Corpus Christi College at Oxford University to experience a taste of student life at the country's top university.

On Thursday 20th April 2023, year 7 and 8 students at Hazel Wood High School were privileged to be visited by the Greater Manchester Police Force, GM Fire and Rescue Service and a representative of HMP service, as part of the authority wide ‘Operation Avro’ programme.
