Year 7 students alongside Ms Rothwell Year 7 Pastoral lead from Hazel Wood High School carried out a community litter pick, the afternoon was a huge success.

National anti-bullying week commenced on the 15th November with the theme of 'One Kind Word'. We kicked off our week with Odd Socks Day on Monday. It was wonderful to see both staff and pupils embracing the day and showing off their uniqueness and style with their odd socks. 

Year 7 and Year 8 at Hazel Wood High School, participated in a Macmillan fundraising event. Normally, we would have invited our families and community members into school to support our Macmillan Coffee Morning. Due to COVID restrictions we were unable to invite families into School.

On the 15th of November the year 11 Health and Social care class from Hazel Wood High school were invited to a taster session by the Health and Social care team from Bury College. During the session they learnt about the variety of courses on offer as well as the subject material covered in the course.
