Hazel Wood High School held a 'How Home Can Help' evening on Thursday 18th April, giving parents of our Year 11 students an opportunity to learn how to support their child with exams and stresses.

On Friday 29th April 2022, 14 students were given an exciting opportunity to take part in the Magistrate's Mock Trials.

On Sunday 20th March our pupils joined our community in celebrating Bury East. Together with the Friends of Hazel Wood, our pupils, organised and hosted a Mother’s Day gift Stall and a reading bonanza.

On Friday 18th march, 25 year 10 students visited the National Justice Museum at Manchester Metropolitan University.

On Wednesday 9th March we were proud to welcome Bronnie and her team to school, to host assemblies for Year 7 and 8 pupils. The assemblies consisted of live music from Bronnie herself, a discussion about mental health, resilience and anxiety; and there was a Q&A session for pupils.
